Arduino Rotating Marble Maze

Arduino Rotating Marble Maze

  • Maker/s: Sahara Disomimba, Angel Garcia

We decided to create an easier and more enjoyable maze for the students and visitors to the maker faire. It is the emphasis on the Arduino application that makes it interesting. First, there is a hole that is covered with cardboard; we pull the cardboard out and place the marble inside. As we insert the marble, it will proceed to the first stage of the maze.

Because the maze is connected to the servo motor, we will be making use of the potentiometer to control the servo motor in order to complete the maze. The infrared sensor will detect it as it approaches the finish line, and the piezo buzzer will make a sound indicating the player has completed the game. In addition, the two LED lights will also illuminate. The marble will be dropped into the hole and kept in a cardboard box.

To win the game, you must guide the marble through the maze and into the portal at the finish. We'll demonstrate how to construct a simple and enjoyable rotating marble maze game that is controlled by an Arduino board. The coolest aspect is that it is constructed of cardboard.

About the Makers

I am a person who enjoys doing different entertainment activities because it makes me feel happy. Robotics is something new to me which makes me become eager to know more about it. I am excited to share our exit product with everyone.

Angel has many ideas which were helpful in incorporating the output that we made. She is a great partner who helped me a lot.
