Inspiration
What inspired us to make this robotics application is because of how fun and the excitement we feel when encountering a vending machine. It's also a part of our childhood too since we encounter vending machines in some places we go before. Moreover, because of this inspiration we got from our memories, and as well as to reminisce a part of our childhood, we decided to make our own machine, applying also, our lessons and skills from the 1st to 3rd quarter of our robotics class.
Reflection
That’s why we have chosen the Vending Machine entitled “Sweet: Candy Mania,” since it also defines our simple moments we had in our 7th Grade days. The vending machine is a way of expressing the sweetness of one simple but joyous moment. We also have agreed on this since, it flashes all memories we had and we missed during the pandemic. We made it nice, sweet and simple for the reason that we know that this can create blissful sweetness from the candies and from the small vending machine.
In addition, we have also come up with this vending machine for our Exit Product as this is applicable and enough with all the needed requirements having a potentiometer as our sensor, at least 2 LEDs, 2 Servo Motors, and a piezo buzzer. This can be manipulated by the potentiometer as the shelves will be slanted, if the knob is turned. All in all, we applied our basic knowledge with reference to the lessons we had from 1st to 3rd Quarter. We also have a good experience in creating this one, realizing that creativity is something beyond just drawings and having fun while creating structures, it also emphasizes creating codes.
About the Makers
Princess, Samantha, and Leiana are girls who aim to create projects that are out of the box using their creativity and skills learned from their experiences at school, classes, but as well as from their respective lives. Each of them holds unique talents, capabilities, personalities, and skills as well. Yet every one of them, despite having differences and all, manages to work hand in hand with each other to be able to achieve their goals not just in academics, but in life.
