For our project the needed materials are the following:
Robotics kit 1&2
Construction paper
Wood chopsticks
Electrical tape
Glue gun and glue stick
Double sided tape
Cardboard (folder &shoebox)
Decorations (ribbon and flowers)
Cutting materials (scissors, cutter, and plier)
Laptop / desktop
Inspiration
Our inspiration in making this robot was our card grade. We want to improve it a little better so we decided to be creative. But of course we are kidding. We can't really say that something or someone had influenced us, we just thought of a concept on the spot, and boom we started our floret robot.
About the Makers
[Kian] I have always been interested in doing computer stuff, like editing videos, discovering computer tools, coding, making shortcuts, managing websites, etc. Since the pandemic (2019), I have let myself be absorbed in playing on my laptop because I was bored. I'm proficient at reading and learning algorithms and patterns. Although, I don't really have any passion for continuing this techno-path career.
[mary]I have always been interested in photography. I like taking pictures of other people, objects, and different places that I’ve been to. I’m not a professional photographer but I love to capture the beautiful side of all things around me. Since I was in grade school I already found my interest in photography and got to even improve it during the pandemic. Taking pictures is also one way to release stress and boredom for me. One thing that I’m also interested in is watching the sunsets, I would take out my camera and take a picture of every sunset that I find pretty, it’s therapeutic for me. They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, I strongly agree with that because every photo that I take, shares different emotions captures beautiful memories with loved ones and tells a story, it’s like seeing things from a new perspective literally and figuratively. Though, I’m not sure if I’ll take photography as a job I won’t close any doors. I might pursue it in the future and continue or improve this kind of hobby.
[Roan] My hobbies are spending time with my loved ones, having adventures, and traveling. Ever since I was a kid I have already been interested in gadgets and technology as I was curious about a lot of things related to such things. About my personality, I can say that I am a person who really cares for those who are near to my heart. I also consider myself someone who is really understanding and thoughtful.
