Arduino Robotics Application

  • Maker/s: Erika Lovern Salon, Nysa Caneos, Napoleon Baday

Our product is about a Wi-Fi controlled car that you can control using your smartphone, it is modeled after the famous Japanese and Legendary Toyota Supra. It’s a great source of entertainment and a way to bring joy to your boring and empty days. This paper 3d model was made of old folders and uses the following materials.

Sweet Candy Mania: How to Make a DIY Candy Vending Machine

  • Maker/s: Samantha Gica, Princess Felias, Leiana Cagulada

This vending machine is inspired by candy mania, so the foods that are within this machine are full of various sweets and candies. In this project; in the utilization of a potentiometer, a piezo buzzer, servo motors, LEDs, and the skills we’ve learned from this quarter. You can get candies from the machine through a twist of the two potentiometers. And when dropped, the buzzer buzzes, and the LED is also turned on as well.

Entertainment and Social Applications

  • Maker/s: Jilian Parayno

This quarter, I have learned about potentiometers and actuators like servo motors.  A potentiometer is a device that measures voltage or electric potential. As the device's shaft is twisted, it produces varying resistance. Servo motors regulate the position of items, rotate objects, move robot legs, arms, and hands, and move sensors. With this project, I made a DIY robot inspired by the Disney character Wall-E.

Cookie The Pussycat

  • Maker/s: Oona Astillo, Reylette Baylin, Nathan Chiong

So this is how our model works, whenever the infrared sensor detects something. It will and tail move, make a beep, and make the cat’s head lights up its eyes. This is to show that the cat says no to any attempts of touch. We want to relay a message that not all cats enjoy to be pet, some of them loves it and some of them hates it. For our cat, this reminds the audience to not touch it as will shake its head as a sign of “no touching please ”. Cats usually gets tensed and stressed whenever people always touches or pets them. So, our project reminds everyone to be sensitive , careful, and considerate to all the cats out there.

Tales of A Puppet: A DIY Theatre Show

  • Maker/s: Mikaela June Collado

Inspired by one of my favorite games (Genshin Impact), I created a puppet show that can be
moved by being the puppeteer that holds the joysticks. Using potentiometers, servo motors,
an IR sensor, and some LEDs, I created something that could be a great entertainment for
kids.

Candy Dispenser

  • Maker/s: Greche Peralta, Denise Catherine Alonzo

The product that we have actually made is inspired by the nostalgia we feel whenever we see candy dispensers in arcades, malls, and shops. As part of the youth, we really feel like candies such as gumballs bring so much joy not only to those who are young but also to all ignoring age that you have. Our recreation of a candy dispenser using recycled materials is a candy dispenser filled with gumballs on the inside with the usual coin slot provided in order to avail the gumball. Once the coin is placed inside the coin slot, the Arduino will start its process and at the end, the machine will release a gumball. With this small and creative robot that we have created from scratch and with the start of a coin, you'll be able to catch some sweet and fruity goodness!

Lucky Ming

  • Maker/s: Cheska Ortega, Adreinne Adaza, Princess Badua

It is basically a robot cat for luck or entertainment. One of the arms moves when the infrared sensor detects a nearby object like a person so it looks like it’s waving at people, and stops when it detects nothing. When the touch sensor on the head is touched the cat's eyes glow and it makes a noise so it seems upset when touched.

Wall-E: The Future is Now

  • Maker/s: Myrille Labo, Julia Asuncion, Carmela Paña

Wall-E is a robotic invention accomplished by utilizing Arduino and is based on the 2008 family/adventure film "Wall-E." The team picked and decided to push with Wall-E because the team believes that it not only demonstrates the different lessons we have gained in Computer, but also highlights a meaningful message to the audience about change, the environment — Protecting the Planet.

RecyclaTRASH

  • Maker/s: Halima Musor, Bea Ocay, Sheren Mangurun

In today's society we experience a lot of problems. One of which is the environmental problem where our natural resources gets destroyed due to pollution and one contribution to that are trashes not segregated properly. Thus, our group decided to create a trash bin with labels to help the community properly segregate their trash and also lessen pollution.
